Founded in 2005, Atlântico Sul (EAS) is currently the best reference in the construction of Suezmax and Aframax type tankers in the American continent, besides an important vessel repair center in the region.

Located in Northeast Brazil, in the Port of Suape, Pernambuco, strategically positioned in the center of the international shipping lanes, and between the Brazilian Pre-Salt and Gulf of Mexico fields, EAS combines the best processes, permanently updated by applying the fundamentals of Continuous Improvement, with the most robust structure and technology.

With installed capacity to process 100 thousand tons of steel per year, EAS, one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, is recognized for differentiating infrastructure, by the focus on security, quality and efficiency in oil tanker construction.

Being an important source of employment and income in the region, with significant contribution to the socioeconomic development of the State of Pernambuco, the EAS is prepared to go even further, moving forward in offering a broader portfolio of products and services, with the same standard of excellence that made the region an important hub of the naval industry in Brazil.
